MISSION
Create
a community entrepreneurial atmosphere that fosters communication of
ideas, networking, educational opportunities, and assistance programs
including management expertise, technical assistance and business guidance.
Recognize outstanding small businesses that exemplify high standards
and are worthy of emulation.
PROGRAMS AND OBJECTIVES
- Conduct the 26th annual Business EXPO.
- Continue to promote “Buying Here Saves YOU Money” by partnering with local media and area businesses.
- Partner with local businesses to increase business to business and local purchasing.
- Continue the ABC lunches/breakfasts as a way to develop business relationships in a small group meeting.
- Expand partnerships with Chamber members to create a community entrepreneurial atmosphere that provides information on educational opportunities and assistance programs. Connect businesses with information concerning management expertise, technical assistance and business guidance.
- Recognize a distinguished business person who has had long-term business success and contributed significantly to the quality of life for individuals in our community.
- Continue to recognize businesses that have exhibited staying power, created jobs, shown innovation in the provision of their product or service, and contributed to the community.
- Recognize a local corporate business with more than 100 employees, for their contributions to the community and promoting the quality of life and the business.
